“No worries” is quite possibly the most overused phrase on the planet. In 2008, during one of the worst financial crises in history, advertising veteran Ian Barry was driving to work and heard a DJ flippantly use the phrase “No worries”.
Ian said to himself, "No worries my ass." This provided him some much-needed comic relief, and he thought it would for others as well.
14 years and one pandemic later,
“No worries my ass.” is as alive and well.
Ian has passed the brand baton to his equally sarcastic daughter, Anna Barry, a graduate in Fashion from Arizona State University.
What a father-daughter duo!
